TIBCO Software

TIBCO Software is a company that specializes in integration, analytics, and event-processing solutions. It provides tools that help organizations connect applications, manage data, and gain insights from their information in real time.

I worked on TIBCO’s in-house creative team, starting as an intern and working my way up to a Sr. Graphic Design role. TIBCO’s brand was ever-evolving, reflected in my work below.

Role: Senior Graphic Designer

Year: 2012-2022

Corporate collateral templates

I was the primary designer responsible for managing production of all collateral. I collaborated on various corporate collateral templates for whitepapers, case studies, datasheets, and guides. This included maintaining a design system and establishing standardized templates, ensuring that other designers could quickly and easily create cohesive documents within brand standards.

Despite the various purpose and layouts, all of TIBCO’s external-facing documentation have a similar look and feel.

Office art

I designed a large-scale installation for the wall of the main conference room in TIBCO’s Executive Briefing Center. The wall featured customer success metrics and logos alongside illustrations to represent various industries that TIBCO services. Later, the design for TIBCO’s Connected Intelligence was updated and the company began using the “Made possible by TIBCO” messaging. Still focusing on customer success, I switched to a photo-based design.

I also created a series of poster’s for the lobby of TIBCO offices. These posters were also focused on customer success and featured customer logos and quotes in addition to a sentence highlighting a benefit TIBCO brought to the customer.

Social graphics

Social graphics to support various assets, campaigns, and events.

Customer book

I worked with TIBCO’s Voice of the Customer team to create a multi-page book highlighting close to eighty customer stories.

The challenge was to design a layout that would work across every customer page, with standard elements on each page but with vastly different amounts of text. We also developed a digital version of the book so I had to ensure page and text size would work for both print and digital to avoid having to maintain two versions.

I carried over the same imagery and blue bar treatment from the customer posters for a consistent look and feel.

Foleon templates

I worked in Foleon, a web-based application that allows you to build interactive, responsive content, to design and manage, a series of templates for TIBCO’s account-based marketing team. Having these templates in place empowered the team to input their own content into pre-designed templates to maintain consistency with TIBCO’s brand standards.
